Cedar Park Library Writing Contest

Cedar Park Library hosting a Writing Contest

Cedar park Library writing contestWhat fun!… Our Cedar Park Library is hosting a writing contest based on life in Cedar Park Texas.

What is Cedar Park Public Library looking for?

Well written, original personal essays, memoirs, and narrative stories about life in Cedar Park, TX.

The theme of this year’s contest is inspired by the reading selection for the 3rd Annual Cedar Park Reads program, Welcome to Utopia: Notes from a Small Town by Karen Valby.

The official prompt for the writing contest is character Josh Wiekamp’s quote, “In a small town, people take care of each other,” excerpted from Valby’s book.

Cedar Park Library Writing Contest Deadline for submissions is April 1, 2012.  So don’t miss it! 🙂
